Ukrainian lawmaker Sofia Fedyna stated this on Espreso TV."As of now, considering the situation at the front, 'Mindichgate,' and the total change in the international situation, we have no plan. We are discussing the 28 points of the Moscow plan, which some Ukrainian officials were promoting to extinguish the scandal surrounding Kabmindich. We are also discussing the 24-point European plan, which is significantly better than the 28 points. But for some reason, no one is discussing a real Ukrainian plan. This means that Ukraine has completely lost its agency, and entrusting international policy to 5-6 managers from the President's Office, some of whom are compromised, at least in the recent Kabmindich, nullifies Ukrainian efforts," noted Fedyna.According to the lawmaker, we understand the inadequate signals the Ukrainian state is sending to the international community. Amid a corruption scandal that has surpassed all previous ones, the president is forming a negotiating group and appointing at least two people involved in the corruption scandal. This is perceived entirely negatively by our foreign partners."We have a serious collision: on one hand, Europe, individual states, and circles in the U.S. want to help Ukraine, especially amid Moscow's bombing of energy infrastructure. And on the other hand, they receive a signal that looks like a slap in their face," remarked Fedyna. The MP added that before criticizing the positions of certain individuals in the U.S. or saying that Europeans are not effective enough, it is worth looking at ourselves."The negotiation mission should have been formed not from courtiers, but from people who have a good understanding of American politics, practical approaches, personal acquaintances, and the deserved trust of Americans. The current delegation raises many questions. Valeriy Chaly should have been brought back, because there are few diplomats like him who live in this process and are heard by American officials. There are several other diplomats of the same level who could be involved, instead of being banned from leaving the country," emphasized Fedyna. The U.S. peace plan for ending Russia's war against Ukraine was shortened by 9 points as a result of negotiations in Geneva.
