Volodymyr Nazarenko, the head of artillery intelligence for the 4th Rubizh Brigade and a captain of the National Guard, said this on Espreso TV."Capitulation cannot be allowed; our army is not defeated. On the contrary, the Russian army is suffering much greater losses, and their resources will not last forever. Right now, Russia is betting exclusively on a competition of resources. For them, the cheapest resource is human life: there have already been over 1,200,000 casualties among the Russian troops. For now, this isn't stopping them, but I hope that sooner or later it will. I am confident that they cannot continue to press on and fight in this manner forever, as they are also becoming exhausted," Nazarenko emphasized.The National Guard captain added that the conditions Russia calls a peace plan are, in fact, conditions for surrender."We must not capitulate. On the contrary, a great many of the best, bravest men and all of Ukraine will not agree to capitulate and surrender to the Russian army," Nazarenko noted.Diplomat Oleh Shamshur stressed that a peace plan is being imposed on Ukraine that would effectively legitimize the Russian occupation, limit state sovereignty, and create new military threats.
