Zelenskyy discusses US "peace plan" with top EU officials

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that he held a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa regarding the US-proposed "peace plan" on Friday 21 November.

Details: Zelenskyy said he briefed the EU leadership on "the proposals from the US side for ending the war and on contact with partners in Europe and the US".
Quote: "We all value America's and President Trump's commitment to bringing the war to an end, and we are working in concert to ensure this becomes a joint and fully aligned plan."
Details: The president also announced further meetings and phone calls, adding that "teams from Ukraine, the US and Europe will work together".
