Search operations continue in Ternopil after Russian strike: 700 sq m of debris cleared – photo, video

Emergency workers are continuing to clear the rubble of the residential building in the city of Ternopil, where 26 people have been killed in a Russian strike. The death toll has not changed as of 07:00 on 20 November and search operations are still ongoing.

Quote: "Search and rescue operations are ongoing in Ternopil at the scene of the Russian strike. As of the morning of 20 November, the information regarding those killed and injured has not changed… Rescue workers worked throughout the night. Over 700 sq m of rubble has been cleared and 230 cubic metres of destroyed structures have been removed."
Details : The search continues for people whose whereabouts are still unknown.
"The work is complicated by the high fragmentation of the structures, the extensive destruction and the need to work manually in several areas," the State Emergency Service added.
Over 230 emergency workers and 50 pieces of equipment are involved at the scene of the Russian strike.
Background: The Russians struck a residential building in Ternopil on the morning of 19 November. The attack claimed the lives of 26 people, including three children. Ninety-three people, including 18 children, were injured. Forty-six people were rescued.
