Izmail port in Odesa Oblast attacked by Russian drones again

The Russians once again attacked the port of Izmail in Odesa Oblast with drones on the night of 16-17 November.

Details : It is noted that the attack damaged port infrastructure and several civilian vessels moored at the quays.
All relevant services – the State Emergency Service, power engineering crews, port units and security agencies – are working at the scenes of the strikes to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
Operations at the port remain monitored and coordinated in line with safety protocols, the USPA added.
"The USPA continues to ensure the stable operation of the ports despite the enemy's ongoing terror. We thank all services for their well-coordinated and swift work," the statement emphasised.
Background :
- Between January and September 2025, 11 Russian attacks on vessels were recorded in Odesa Oblast ports, resulting in damage to 13 civilian ships and one naval vessel.
- On the night of 21-22 October, the Russians attacked the port of Izmail.
- On the night of 3-4 November, the Izmail Sea Port again came under Russian drone attack.
