Quote: "While carrying out their official duties, a vehicle belonging to the city military administration had been attacked by an enemy strike FPV drone. Two employees have been injured. An armoured vehicle carrying staff of Kostiantynivka City Military Administration has been damaged."
Details: Horbunov said that administration representatives in Kostiantynivka were recording damage to residential buildings. The collected data will be submitted to the commission that provides compensation for destroyed property so that residents can receive state reimbursement.
He added that administration personnel had delivered fuel for generators to invincibility centres so that people remaining in the city could take water, charge phones, contact their relatives and apply for evacuation. [Invincibility centres are heated premises stocked with food and power banks to assist residents facing hardships due to power cuts – ed.]
Background:
- Dmytro Petlin, a representative of Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, said earlier that 4,800 people are still in Kostiantynivka and that evacuation from the city remains possible.
- Soldiers from the 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade have reported earlier that they thwarted an attempt by Russian forces to break into the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast, forcing the Russians to retreat with losses.
