Details: According to DeepState's updated battlefield map, Russian forces managed to occupy Rivnopillia and Yablukove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
In addition, Russian units have achieved tactical gains near the settlements of Volodymyrivka and Kotlyne in Donetsk Oblast. Analysts also reported that the Russians had advanced near the village of Dachne, located on the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's defence forces conducted successful local counteroffensive actions on the Zaporizhzhia front. It was reported that Ukrainian defenders had managed to push Russian troops back from their positions near the village of Shakhove.
Background:
- On 12 November, Defence Forces of Ukraine's South reported that Ukrainian units had withdrawn from the village of Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast to more advantageous positions.
- DeepState noted that the capture of Rivnopillia in Zaporizhzhia Oblast by Russian forces had created an opportunity for them to advance towards Huliaipole from the north.
- Russian forces have been pushing into drone-surrounded Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast since at least 6 November, moving in on motorcycles and pickup trucks and deploying mortars in the city. Sources told Ukrainska Pravda that attempts by Ukrainian special forces units to mop up the city had been delayed and did not change the balance of forces in the city.
