Taras Myshak, a senior officer of the communication department of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade, stated this on Espreso TV."Our brigade is in the Pokrovsk direction, but not in the city of Pokrovsk itself. The situation is difficult in this direction. We have ongoing assaults, they are repeated almost every day. The Russians are also actively using drones, disrupting logistics, and flying drones deep into our rear. This makes movement very difficult, and it is very difficult to hold the defense without logistics. That is, the situation has been difficult for a certain period of time, and, unfortunately, we kill Russians every day in pretty good numbers, but they still keep coming, they don't run out yet," he said.Taras Myshak said that the pressure from the Russians is not as high now; there were periods when it was higher."Regarding our area of responsibility, I can say that the pressure is not as high now; there were periods when it could be high. The Russians, in principle, always use such tactics; they probe the line of defense, and where they receive a worthy, powerful rebuff, they attack less there. Therefore, now they are not as active with us, so to speak, as they were a few months ago. But they do not abandon their plans; there are still several assaults there every day, or rather, it's even difficult to call them assaults. This is the tactic, which I think you have already heard about, of small infantry groups, the infiltration tactic. With these small infantry groups, they try to enter the rear, enter somewhere in the inter-positional space, crawl through, entrench themselves, accumulate there, and from there carry out their further actions. But for now, we manage to contain them, we manage not to let them through," he said. The senior officer noted that the units of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade are collecting funds for a car."Logistics is now a rather difficult component, perhaps the most difficult component, but the needs do not decrease from this, that is, something needs to be transported, movement is needed. And also, due to this abundance of Russian drones, it is necessary to move quite quickly on bad roads. Because of this, cars quickly break down, they break. They need to be repaired, unfortunately, this often happens at their own expense, so we are opening such a jar. This is for various units, and for car repairs as well. Because, indeed, sometimes it is quite difficult. If it's not difficult to donate some feasible amount, we will be very grateful, and this will indeed be a significant contribution. Cars burn and break down, this is a constant need," he added.
