The Russian publication Kommersant reported the information.The law, which allows the involvement of reservists for such tasks not only during wartime but also in peacetime, was signed by Putin on November 4.According to the publication, relevant measures are already being carried out in 20 regions of Russia.Reservists, who will primarily be involved in combating enemy drones, will receive the status of military personnel with all the provided benefits, including social guarantees and payments.Russia's fall conscription is functioning as a hidden mobilization. Conscripts are being converted into contract soldiers and sent to the front within a few months, as the Kremlin continues to sidestep an official general mobilization.
