Details: Local residents reported explosions in the city and a drone threat warning remained in effect for nearly eight hours. Sergei Boyko, head of the Tuapse municipal district in Krasnodar Krai, announced the cancellation of the threat from unmanned boats and drones only at 08:00 Moscow time.
He later edited his original post, removing the mention of naval drones, although that information remained in the Telegram channel of the Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters.
The Telegram channel Exilenova published eyewitness footage; according to Dnipro Osint, a naval drone struck the area near pier No. 167.
Russian officials have not commented on the consequences of the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that seven UAVs had been shot down over the Black Sea.
Background: On 2 November, it was reported that Russia had suspended fuel exports from the port of Tuapse after two attacks by Ukrainian drones.
