The Main Intelligence Directorate reported the information.“Special Unit Tymur of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine continues an operation in one of the areas of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, that is critical for frontline logistics. Fierce fighting with Russian occupiers is ongoing,” the statement says.According to Ukrainian intelligence, after an airborne operation, reconnaissance special forces that secured designated positions were joined by additional forces through an established ground corridor.Currently, alongside the Tymur unit, other special units are also carrying out combat missions in the sector. No details were disclosed.“Combat operations continue, aimed at eliminating Russian attempts to expand their fire control over logistics in the Main Intelligence Directorate's area of responsibility,” the intelligence agency added.As of November 3, Ukraine’s Defense Forces halted the Russian advance in the northern part of Pokrovsk, and clearing operations in the city were ongoing. In Myrnohrad, defenses have been reinforced with additional troops, and Russian forces are being eliminated.That same day, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that about one-third of all battles and half of Russia’s guided bomb use are taking place in Pokrovsk.
