Commander of the Dovbush Hornets UAV battalion of Ukraine's 68th Jaeger Brigade, Viacheslav Liutyi, shared the information on Espreso TV.“From my point of view, the situation in Pokrovsk is critical — I can’t say it’s under control. Of course, the Ukrainian command intends to stabilize the front and restore a secure line, but unfortunately many [Russian] sabotage-and-reconnaissance groups are slipping through and sowing chaos in our ranks and logistics. Numerous units have been deployed to deal with them; they need to be eliminated effectively and dealt with in time,” said the commander of the Dovbush Hornets UAV battalion. He added that clearing these subversive groups in the city is extremely difficult, because it’s nearly impossible to check every hole and crevice and locate the enemy.“Russian soldiers don’t reveal themselves openly; they follow different orders and disguise their movements. When they spot, say, a patrol, they often avoid engaging with small arms, so our troops sometimes pass by hoping the enemy hasn’t been detected. There are increasing cases where effective clearing operations later destroy enemies where they had previously revealed themselves. But for now the occupiers are still moving chaotically around the town, and there are many of them,” commented Liutyi. On November 1, it was reported that stabilization measures were ongoing in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, with the participation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
