Ukraine's Armed Forces to expand use of ground robotic systems for evacuating wounded soldiers, says commander-in-chief

Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has announced that the military will expand the use of ground robotic systems and deploy specially equipped helicopters for the evacuation of wounded soldiers. The decision was made during a meeting on military medicine.

Details: Syrskyi said that the decision was adopted during a meeting focused on addressing urgent issues in military medicine and improving the overall standard of medical support within the army.
Quote: "The concentration of enemy unmanned attack systems is increasing, and the kill zone has expanded to 20 kilometres. Medical evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield under modern warfare conditions constantly presents new challenges that we must respond to promptly and effectively.
One of these solutions is the wider use of evacuation ground robotic systems to extract the wounded from frontline positions."
Details : Syrskyi added that he has issued orders for the delivery of new ground drones to the Armed Forces and for the further development of an evacuation system based on unmanned robotic systems.
During the meeting, participants also supported the proposal to use military helicopters equipped with medical equipment for the targeted evacuation of critically wounded personnel.
According to Syrskyi, the discussion also covered ways to improve medical assistance for wounded soldiers, including the operation of medical posts and stabilisation points, as well as enhancing their security.
