Russians launch 10 drones on Sumy in one hour: civilian infrastructure hit, people injured – photos

Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure in Sumy on the evening of 30 October, launching 10 drones on the city within one hour and injuring four people.

Details : Local authorities reported that explosions had been heard in the city. Five strikes on civilian infrastructure were recorded in the Kovpakivskyi district.
Early reports indicated that there were casualties.
Updated : Kordon Media wrote that one of the strikes hit a residential building, causing a fire and injuring people.
Updated : Hryhorov stated after midnight that Russia had directed Sumy with 10 drones in just one hour.
Quote from Hryhorov : "All the strikes were deliberately aimed at civilian infrastructure.
There were hits on a nine-storey high rise building and a two-storey residential house in different parts of the city."
 
        Details : Hryhorov added that two of those injured from the high-rise building – a teenage girl and an elderly woman – had received medical treatment at the scene.
Information on other casualties is being confirmed.
Quote from Hryhorov : "People whose homes were damaged are being provided with the necessary assistance.
The enemy does not stop. There is a threat of double-tap strikes."
Details : Later, Sumy City Military Administration reported that the number of those injured had risen to four.
At least six high-rise buildings were damaged in the Russian drone strike on Sumy.
 
        All of these buildings are located near the nine-storey block that was directly hit by a Russian drone.
A fire broke out on the upper floors.
Kordon Media reporters at the scene said people from the most damaged apartments had been taken away by ambulances. There are no reports of fatalities so far.
In addition to the strike on the high-rise building, there were other consequences of the large-scale attack on Sumy.
In particular, a house in the Kovpakivskyi district caught fire and was partially destroyed.
Another fire broke out following a strike on a critical infrastructure facility.
