Ukrainian partisans say Russia forms all-female assault units near Pokrovsk

The Ukrainian ATESH resistance movement has said that the command of Russia's 506th Motor Rifle Regiment has begun forming assault units made up of women near Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, and is using them to infiltrate Ukrainian positions while disguised as civilians.

Details: The partisans have reported that their agents inside the 506th regiment are recording what they describe as "catastrophic losses" among Russian troops. As a result, the regiment's command has allegedly started recruiting women for its assault companies. ATESH says that this is intended to compensate for the shortage of mercenaries and contract soldiers, describing it as evidence of the "exhaustion of Russia's military resources".
Partisans say that these women are not only being sent on assault missions but are also used for infiltration operations.
Quote: "In the event of a failed assault, they are ordered to change into civilian clothing and, posing as locals, conduct reconnaissance and relay information about the movements of Ukraine's defence forces.
Our sources confirm that there is no way back for these women. Their lives depend entirely on the 'mercy' of their commanders – mercy that can only be earned in one way. The Russian troops have completely lost all morals."
