Ukraine’s Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk reported the information.Energy workers restored power supply following repairs to the 750 kV Dniprovska high-voltage line, while work continues on the 330 kV Ferospavna line.During the blackout, the safety of Europe’s largest nuclear facility depended solely on emergency diesel generators — posing a serious risk of nuclear and radiation disaster for Ukraine and other European countries. The month-long outage resulted from ongoing Russian attacks on critical infrastructure. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, energy workers have repaired the lines connecting the plant to Ukraine’s power grid 42 times. On October 9, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced that external power supply to the Russian-occupied plant from Ukraine’s grid was being restored.
