The head of public relations for the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Oleksandrivka direction, Ivan Sekach, said this on Espreso TV."The Oleksandrivka direction is very dynamic and one of the most active. There is the city of Pokrovske here. Once, the 110th Brigade was defending Pokrovsk, then we were transferred to Velyka Novosilka, and little by little we advanced all the way to Pokrovske. Unfortunately, the city is dying, the bridges and logistics have already been destroyed," Sekach said.According to the head of the public relations service of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, the Russian troops are gradually advancing, looking for gaps in the Ukrainian defense. Its main goal now is to reach Pokrovske, but the command is aware of this.“Two days ago, a command and observation post of an enemy battalion was detected, where the son of a Russian general was eliminated. So the work continues, and we’re trying to operate remotely,” noted Sekach. The head of the public relations service of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade also added that a large number of fiber-optic FPV drones have been observed in the Oleksandrivka direction.“Yesterday, when we drove out to the positions, fiber-optic wire got tangled around our wheels — like a web. There’s currently no technical solution against it: it can’t be detected, only spotted visually. So we have to act cowboy-style — every soldier carries a shotgun. We walk around with shotguns as if we’re hunting, but it’s not fun at all: those we hunt are hunting us, trying to kill us — a sort of deadly game. We drive around like in the Wild West, peering out the windows, searching for these waiting drones,” Sekach emphasized.During October 20, 202 battles occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 76 Russian attacks.
