Far-right Romanian MEP threatens to "break Zelenskyy's legs"

Details: The Romanian politician made her statement during a meeting of the International Cultural Association Friends of Russia, chaired by pro-Putin activist Pietro Stramezzi. Șoșoacă also attended the 20th anniversary celebration of the propaganda channel RT, where Russian leader Vladimir Putin delivered a speech.
Quote: "If he dares to come to my parliament, I'll break his legs! He must not give a speech in my parliament. Why do I say 'my parliament'? Because Romania's constitution says that we, the members of parliament, are the representatives of the Romanian people and the only ones who can represent the sovereignty of the Romanian nation."
Details: Șoșoacă repeated Kremlin propaganda claims about the alleged "oppression of over a million Romanians in Ukraine," who are supposedly "forbidden to speak Romanian and practise Orthodoxy".
In her press release, she boasted that her "nationalist message" was "highly appreciated by the youth" and that she "received applause" from those present.
Background:
- Șoșoacă is known for her pro-Russian statements and scandalous behaviour. She is currently under investigation in Romania on 11 counts, including promoting the cult of war criminals and Holocaust denial.
- Earlier, Ukraine's Security Service banned her from entering Ukraine for three years.
