This section of the front has consistently been one of the calmest – several attacks occur here per day, while near Pokrovsk there are 50 to 70.Over 5 months of summer offensive, the Russian troops managed to push the front line in certain areas by 2-2.5 km and capture 4 villages, including Kamianske. They practically occupied our fortified area in Poltavka and continued advancing north and south along the river, towards Malynivka and Okhotniche respectively. In particular, they are breaking through from recently occupied Novoivanivka to Uspenivka, where Ukrainian defense is not as strong as in the Pokrovsk area in Dnipropetrovsk region, which they are also attacking.In particular, the Russian enemy is pushing through our defense in two directions: through Verbove and Oleksiivka. These two villages are located between the Vovcha and Yanchur rivers, and behind them is the critically important Pokrovsk–Huliaipole road. So, having no natural obstacles, the Russians are storming our defense in these villages. Fighting is currently ongoing here. Meanwhile, the enemy bypassed Verbove from the south and is trying to break through to Vyshnevе, where there is a bridge across the Yanchur. Here they will also try to force the river.The Huliaipole front this week was perhaps the only one where the Russians had any tactical successes.Oleksandrivka front prepares for a powerful strikeAt the beginning of October, Russia transferred 4 brigades from near Pokrovsk to the former Novopavlivka, now Oleksandrivka front. This significantly increased the capabilities of Russian forces, which had long lost their offensive potential here. So much so that they could not close the pocket that stretched from Komar for over 2 months. The reinforcements immediately set about straightening the front.They also resumed the offensive on Oleksandrohrad, from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously driven out the Russians twice. Raids by sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Andriivka-Klevtsove and Havrylivka became more frequent. At the same time, their sabotage and reconnaissance groups expanded the combat zone in Filiia – where they have been unable to establish themselves on the right bank of the Vovcha for over 2 months. But their offensive has now become more powerful, and the enemy's new reinforcements have increased the risks for the Defense Forces of not holding this bridgehead before Novopavlivka.Russian troops entered the outskirts of PokrovskUnfortunately, the continuous pressure of over a hundred thousand Russian troops on Pokrovsk is yielding results – the enemy is gradually pushing through our defense. In particular, on the southern outskirts of the city, they managed to occupy the Leontovychi and Troianda districts, and also entered the streets of the Shakhtarskyi district where house-to-house fighting was ongoing. After capturing Zvirove, Russian forces directed their attacks along the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk in order to approach Myrnohrad from the west and try to collapse our defense around this city. However, their progress here is extremely slow. Its forward units sometimes reach Promin, where they are eliminated. The Russians have not managed to expand the breakthrough from Myroliubivka for two weeks, which gives hope that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will cut off this salient. From the north, the enemy continues to consolidate in Chervonyi Lyman, from where it will press on the northern outskirts of Myrnohrad. In fact, the city will soon transition to all-around defense.Dobropillia swings for survivalThe Ukrainian army managed to tighten the ring even more around the surrounded Russians in Kucherovyi Yar and between Shakhove and Nove Shakhove. Systematic clearing of these territories is underway.But the Russians do not stop attacking our flanks to break through to their own. In particular, this week there were several attacks from Popovyi Yar on Volodymyrivka, Shakhove and towards Sofiivka, involving a significant amount of armored vehicles. And having received reinforcements of paratroopers, they are trying to develop an offensive bypassing Pokrovsk from the north and at the same time will try to continue the offensive on Dobropillia.Kupiansk has turned into a battlefieldRussian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are actively infiltrating the city, penetrating into more and more neighborhoods. Fighting is now raging around the Spartak stadium in the central part of the city. At the same time, it should be noted that they do not have the forces to capture them. They take positions and hold them waiting for reinforcements. The Defense Forces are searching for them and destroying them, but do not have enough resources either to quickly eliminate everyone or to cut off the flow of new sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Over the past 3 weeks, this section of the front has entered the top three most active. North Koreans have appeared here again, who are currently coordinating with the Russians and operating drones. The authorities announced the evacuation of families with children from 40 settlements in the Kupiansk district. In particular, from Velykyi Burluk, which is a key logistics and defense hub in this territory.
