Ukrainian air defence destroys or jams 136 Russian drones overnight

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 164 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drone, as well as three S-300 missiles from Kursk Oblast on the night of 17-18 October.

Details: The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 100 of the 164 UAVs were Shaheds.
Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack in the country's north, south, east and centre.
Early reports indicated that as of 09:00, air defence forces had destroyed or jammed 136 Russian drones. Meanwhile, hits by 27 UAVs have been recorded in 12 locations and the fall of downed drones (debris) has been recorded in 4 locations.
An air-raid warning is in effect in some oblasts as several Russian drones are still in the airspace.
