Lukashenko orders combat readiness check of Belarusian armed forces

The country’s defense ministry announced the information.The measures are intended to assess how quickly troops can respond to threats and carry out assigned tasks, the ministry said in a statement.“A number of armed forces units will be put on combat alert, will move to designated areas, and will conduct activities outlined in the order,” it said.The inspection is being conducted under the supervision of the State Secretariat of the Security Council and includes command and staff drills, troop movements, and field exercises to evaluate unit coordination and mobility.The announcement follows annual mobilization readiness exercises held across Belarus from October 7 to 10 under the leadership of regional authorities.
