Putin explains how he plans to counteract Ukraine's Tomahawk missiles

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will reinforce its air defence systems in response to potential deliveries of US Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Details: Putin was asked whether Russia had prepared a response to possible US missile supplies to Ukraine.
Quote: "Our response is to strengthen the air defence system of the Russian Federation."
More details: Putin dismissed discussions about providing Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles as a "bluff".
Quote: "It's [a form of] bluffing as well. There's a lot of posturing here."
Background:
- In late September, The Telegraph reported that Zelenskyy asked the United States for Tomahawk missiles during a closed-door meeting with US President Donald Trump in New York.
- Zelenskyy later said that a request containing details and illustrations of Ukraine's needs has been submitted to Trump.
- On 2 October, Zelenskyy confirmed that he had spoken with Trump about the possibility of the US providing Ukraine with long-range missile systems.
- Trump stated earlier that he has "sort of made a decision" on the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
