Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine, adviser to the director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies Andriy Veselovskyi said this live on Espreso."I have no concern that EU countries will fail to find €35 billion for Ukraine for the next year and beyond. This amount is not unmanageable for them. Moreover, if we successfully start exporting weapons now, it will only increase their interest in supporting us, because they will finally see real returns," Veselovskyi emphasized.According to the diplomat, Ukraine’s defense industry is now successfully competing with the Russian military machine and has significantly surpassed what exists in European countries."If we already know how—and we do—to sell weapons to NATO countries, if we are jointly producing systems with them, despite all the top-secret protocols, that inflict damage on Russia, it means we’ve been admitted to the temple of their internal trust," Veselovskyi added. On September 22, President Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is launching “controlled arms exports,” that a concept for exports will be presented within ten days, and that Ukraine already has its first proposals for partners.
