Ukraine and Norway launch €20m programme to develop defence technologies

Ukraine and Norway have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the development of defence innovations and are launching a joint programme, Brave-Norway, with a budget of €20 million.

Details : The Brave-Norway programme will fund innovative solutions for the front line and strengthen the defence and technological capabilities of both countries.
According to Fedorov, the programme will include grant support for startups working on unmanned systems and other defence technologies.
Joint hackathons will also be held to identify practical solutions capable of changing the battlefield situation, and platforms will be created to integrate research institutions.
In Ukraine, the programme will be implemented by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster.
Norway will provide €10 million in grants through the Innovation Development Fund for technology developers whose work could have a decisive impact on the course of the war. These solutions will be tested in Ukraine.
