Regarding the latter: the situation near the settlement of Yampil has stabilised. Units from the Special Operations Forces, units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine are conducting search-and-destroy operations in the village to detect and destroy remaining enemy sabotage groups."
Details: Syrskyi said Ukraine's defence forces are increasing the effectiveness of strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel and destroying their logistics on the Dobropillia front.
Russian losses in the area over the past 24 hours total 47 troops, including 32 killed in action. Since the start of Ukraine's counteroffensive on the Dobropillia front, Russian forces have lost around 3,520 personnel, of whom 1,988 were killed in action. Additionally, 991 pieces of Russian weapons and military equipment have been damaged or destroyed.
Syrskyi also reported that, together with commanders operating on the front, he had reviewed the operational situation and considered proposals to enhance the combat effectiveness of formations, units and subunits. Among the tasks identified are improving troop coordination, logistics and the evacuation of the wounded.
Background:
On 15 September, it became known that Russian troops had entered Yampil under the guise of civilians, which is a violation of international law.
On 28 September, the Ukrainian General Staff explained that the Russians had attempted to improve their positions near Yampil, but Ukrainian defenders immediately brought in reinforcements and prevented them from advancing.
