Ukraine strikes Russia’s newest missile ship in Lake Onega

The Grad (hull number 575), a Project 21631 Buyan-M small missile ship, was hit at 4:31 a.m. local time while moving from the Baltic Sea toward the Caspian Sea, the SOF Command reported.“The strike hit the right side of the ship's power plant compartment. Additional details are being clarified,” the statement said.Commissioned on December 29, 2022, into Russia’s Baltic Fleet, the Grad is among the most modern vessels in the fleet and is equipped with the Kalibr-NK missile system.Separately, Ukraine’s Defense Forces reported overnight strikes on the Kirishinefteorgsintez oil refinery in Russia’s Leningrad region, as well as on several other military targets in Russia and the occupied Donetsk region.
