Russian attack hits critical infrastructure in Ukraine’s Chernihiv

Espreso correspondent reported the information.During the day on September 25, two explosions were heard in Chernihiv. A column of smoke could be seen from the direction of the CHP (combined heat and power plant).In the Novozavodskyi district of Chernihiv, there was no electricity.At 3:30 p.m., reports came in of a third explosion.
According to Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, the Russian army is attacking the city’s critical infrastructure.He urged residents to remain in safe places. Chernihiv water utility company recommended that residents stock up on drinking water.Bryzhynskyi later clarified that, fortunately, there were no casualties."A fire broke out at the site, which rescuers are currently working to contain. Fortunately, there are no human casualties. As a result of the attack, about 30,000 subscribers in Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district were left without power. Restoration work is currently being organized," Bryzhynskyi wrote.He added that in the districts left without electricity, water supply pressure has dropped. Improvement in water pressure is expected once power is restored.
