Maksym Bilousov, the head of the communications department of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade, reported this on Espreso TV."The situation in the Lyman direction remains difficult. The Russian army is actively storming our positions and has accumulated a significant amount of manpower opposite us. The 20th Army of the Russian Federation is operating against us, and the enemy is actively using the tactic of assaults in small groups. Enemy aviation is working intensively - airstrikes are being carried out on our positions, including the dropping of guided aerial bombs. Russian artillery is also firing actively, and, of course, drones," noted Bilousov.According to the head of the communications department of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Russia has also begun to use a new type of FPV drone - the so-called 'waiting drones.' They appeared approximately 2–3 months ago. These new drones have special platforms that allow them to land on a flat surface—such as a road, a roof of a house, or a bus stop—and wait for a target to appear, which is usually a vehicle with our military personnel."Therefore, it is necessary for our aerial reconnaissance to constantly work on detecting and destroying such 'waiting drones.' It is equally important for our soldiers who are traveling by vehicle to be attentive, monitor their surroundings, and have the means to quickly neutralize such drones if they are detected. This is a new menace that is causing us a lot of inconvenience," emphasized Bilousov.Since the beginning of the day on September 18, 100 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front, with the Russian forces being most active in the Pokrovsk direction.
