Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate reported the information.Russian enterprises are already experiencing a labor shortage, and vocational schools lack students. According to classified Russian demographic reports, the situation is expected to worsen. Forecasts predict that over the next 50 years, the population will decrease by at least 25%.“The most troubling demographic trends are recorded in Russia’s Far Eastern regions, from where Moscow has taken most of the men and sent them to be eliminated in the criminal war against Ukraine. The war started by Russia is one of the defining causes of negative demographic phenomena and the corresponding forecasts within the aggressor state,” writes the Main Intelligence Directorate. The intelligence agency emphasized that most of the killed and wounded Russian soldiers are men aged 20 to 35, who form the core of the demographic pyramid.“To slow down the crisis in demographics and the economy, Russian officials propose more actively recruiting labor migrants. These migrants are also being actively conscripted to participate in the criminal war. This approach by the Kremlin once again demonstrates Putin’s unwillingness to end the fighting and, on the contrary, its determination to continue the war against Ukraine, exploiting the subjugated peoples of the so-called Russian Federation as well as the male population in occupied Ukrainian territories to the very end,” the report says.On September 17, the occupying Russian army lost at least 930 more troops. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 33 artillery systems and 2 tanks.
