The Verkhovna Rada’s official Telegram channel reported the information.The Verkhovna Rada ratified Agreement No. 0332 on a century-long partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.The document establishes a new long-term framework for bilateral cooperation covering security, defense, economy, science, technology, and cultural ties.Under the agreement, military support will be significantly strengthened: the United Kingdom commits to providing Ukraine with at least £3.6 billion in military aid annually until the 2030/31 fiscal year, and thereafter as needed.“This includes training Ukrainian troops, supporting pilots, supplying military aviation, expanding cooperation in defense production, and participating in joint expeditionary formats such as the Joint Expeditionary Force,” the parliament clarified.On September 17, the parliament approved the law on a military ombudsman in its second reading, which stipulates that the ombudsman will monitor compliance with the rights of military personnel.
