Ukraine's Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture reported the information.During the three days of screening meetings, Ukraine presented 28 thematic blocks, which specifically covered the state of agricultural reforms, progress in digitalization, state support, market regulation, and the development of the agricultural sector.This "demonstrated Ukraine's readiness for integration into the EU's common agricultural policy," the Ministry of Economy said.The Ukrainian delegation also presented the level of alignment of Ukraine's legislation with EU law in five areas: Horizontal issues – financial and administrative structures, Agricultural markets, Quality policy, Organic production, and Promotion of agricultural products."The European Commission positively assessed the presented materials," the statement says.Chapter 11, Agriculture and Rural Development, covers a large number of mandatory rules, most of which will apply in Ukraine from the moment of accession, without the need for adopting additional regulatory legal acts.The correct application of these rules and their effective enforcement and control are critically important for the functioning of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy.
