To strengthen offensive capabilities, the Russian Armed Forces command has redeployed additional reserves to the 1st National Guard Corps Azov area of responsibility, consisting of four infantry brigades and one marine regiment.“The Ukrainian Defense Forces are making every effort to stop the Russian advance and prevent a breach of our defenses,” the Ukrainian military emphasized.Earlier, Serhiy Zgurets, military expert and Defense Express CEO, noted that Russia is amassing forces to pressure Ukraine’s defenses and capture Pokrovsk, a key step for advancing toward Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
