She is a resident of the Sviatoshynskyi district, which suffered the heaviest damage from the strike.“A decision was made to perform an emergency cesarean section. The doctors delivered a premature baby. The child is in the intensive care unit,” Hinzburh said.Olena Frantseva, a burn specialist at Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2, told Suspilne that all four patients are currently in intensive care. Among the injured are a 72-year-old man, a 74-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man.The pregnant woman, 24, was transferred to the burn unit of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2 around midday today, after giving birth at another medical facility. Doctors are currently fighting for her life.“They sustained burns over large areas and of significant depth,” the doctor said.Earlier, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the number of people injured in the Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 20. Seven people were hospitalized, including the pregnant woman, while others received medical assistance on site.Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Ukraine starting on September 6, striking Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, and several regions with drones and ballistic missiles that caused death, injury, and widespread infrastructure damage.
