The desire to “correctly” decipher Donald Trump’s latest social media post makes every decoder a hostage of the information show into which the American president has turned world politics. It has already been proven many times: statements on social media, speeches, negotiations, peace forums, and so on have no real meaning if they are not tied to concrete actions. But at the same time, he keeps sending troops into offensives, terrorizing Ukraine’s civilian population, spending millions on propaganda, and bribing politicians and journalists in the West.Trump, at first glance, is a master of words. But what has he done in six months in the White House? He has not resolved the issue of new military aid for Ukraine, he has not introduced new sanctions against Russia. He only threatens and promises.Yet in war, inaction is also action. With loud words, Trump skillfully masks this inaction.
