Second Ukrainian drone strike targets Russia’s Shahed storage site in Tatarstan

Ukraine Security Service (SBU) reported the information.“Long-range drones of the SBU’s Special Operations Center A have carried out a second strike on a logistics hub where Shaheds ready for use, as well as foreign components for them, are stored. The warehouse is located in the Russian locality of Kyzyl-Yul, Republic of Tatarstan, at a distance of 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine,” the statement says.According to the SBU, local residents have already shared videos showing the hub being hit, with fires recorded in its premises.The SBU said it continues a series of special operations targeting enemy facilities deep in Russia's rear.“The repeated attack on this defense industry facility is intended to reduce the enemy’s capacity for Shahed terror against Ukraine. Operations against enterprises that supply weapons to the Russian war machine will continue,” the SBU added.On August 9, 2025, drones of the Ukrainian Security Service struck a logistics center in Tatarstan where ready-to-use Shaheds and foreign components for them were stored.
