According to him, Ukraine and France are coordinating their positions and share the same view on the need for a common European approach to key security issues for Europe.Zelenskyy emphasized that much depends—both now and in the future—on the prudence and effectiveness of every step taken by Ukraine, Europe, and America."We agreed that work at the level of advisors and at the level of leaders must be effective. We remember that a real ceasefire is needed. Ukraine is ready for this, and it is from Russia that there is still no clear public response. So, the near future should show what the consequences will be if Russia continues to prolong the war and disrupt constructive efforts," he noted.Zelenskyy also agreed to further discuss the outcomes of their conversations throughout the day with other leaders.Possible meeting between Trump, Zelenskyy, and PutinOn August 6, the special representative of the U.S. President, Steve Witkoff, visited Moscow, where he held a meeting with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.U.S. President Donald Trump himself called the meeting productive.
