Sandvik said in a statement.Sweden confirmed that its portion of the pledge includes Patriot missile systems, other air defense platforms, and anti-tank munitions — totaling $275 million."Continued supply of this kind of American defense materiel, which Europe can't deliver in sufficient quantity, is decisive for Ukraine's defence capability," Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch told reporters on Tuesday.Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced that the funds would be made available immediately and emphasized Denmark’s openness to providing further support in the future. "Speed is absolutely critical," he stated.Denmark is contributing approximately $90 million, while Norway has pledged around 1.5 billion Norwegian crowns (roughly $146 million).NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte welcomed the contribution, thanking the three Nordic nations for acting swiftly to support Ukraine through the alliance’s new funding channel.The assistance falls under NATO’s Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) — a coordinated effort by European member states and Canada to deliver high-priority military aid in $500 million packages.As of the end of March, Sweden alone had contributed 92.8 billion Swedish crowns in support to Ukraine, according to official government figures.Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced a military aid package for Ukraine valued at €500 million, which includes missiles and components for the Patriot system.
