As a result, the substation, which supplied electricity to an enterprise repairing Russian military equipment, was put out of operation. This refers to the workshops of the Berdianski Zhnivarki plant, which the Russians turned into a large repair base and storage facility for military equipment, weapons, and personnel after the occupation.It is mentioned that local residents were the first to report the powerful explosion on social media. They also shared video information that, for unknown reasons, one of the city’s substations caught fire, and electricity disappeared on some nearby streets.Currently, the final consequences of the explosion and the extent of the damage are being clarified.On June 18, in temporarily occupied Berdiansk, the "acting mayor" of the occupation authorities, Mykhailo Hrytsai, who was suspected of state treason, was shot dead.
