Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops, stated this on Espreso TV."The Russians currently have two major advantages—these are the guided aerial bombs (KABs), which they are using widely. Not as widely as two years ago, because there are now certain technical limitations: there aren’t as many pilots left, and there aren’t as many opportunities to use them. But still, they have KABs, while we do not have such weapons. The second advantage is the huge number of personnel that Russia can deploy, primarily in the Pokrovsk direction," Trehubov noted.According to the Khortytsia spokesperson, at the start of the summer campaign in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces concentrated over 110,000 troops. This is an army capable of capturing a medium-sized European country. And such a force was concentrated in just one, relatively small, direction."If we talk about UAVs of various types, the Russians have no problems with them. But there is also no obvious disproportion between the Russian and Ukrainian sides. However, when it comes to manpower, the Russians have a very significant advantage. And this advantage is compounded by their willingness to completely disregard the preservation of their personnel," Trehubov added. The founder of the Close the Sky of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, noted that Ukraine faces the threat of a large-scale Russian offensive, which could begin as early as August.
