In them:TASS and other outlets say representatives of the U.S. and UK recently organized a secret meeting in the Alps.Participants allegedly included Ukrainian officials such as Andriy Yermak, Kyrylo Budanov (listed as a terrorist/extremist in Russia), and Valerii Zaluzhnyi.According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the meeting discussed replacing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The SVR further claimed that the U.S. and UK decided at this meeting to nominate Zaluzhnyi for the presidency of Ukraine.“The lie, attributed to Yevgeny Naryshkin and propagated by the foreign intelligence service of the aggressor state, Russia, is intended to escalate social tensions in Ukraine, sow distrust within Ukraine’s military-political leadership, divert public attention from the war to elections, provoke discord, and weaken our country’s ability to resist the Russian occupiers,” the report states. The department also noted that Russian forces are conducting information attacks against Ukraine’s military intelligence, spreading false claims about the alleged involvement of one of the HUR servicemen in drug trafficking.Amid the third round of talks between Ukraine and Russia, Russian sources began spreading false claims about an alleged secret meeting between Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian delegation.
