Military Watch reported the information, citing its own sources. The current U.S. administration is considering the possibility of transferring the first AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) air-launched cruise missiles to Ukraine. These missiles will equip the fleet of F-16 fighter jets of the Ukrainian Air Force, which can serve as effective launch platforms for the missiles during flights deep behind friendly lines."The reported plans to send JASSM missiles follow separate reports by two sources with knowledge of the plans for weapons deliveries on July 14 that the dispatch of an unnamed class of long range missile capable of striking targets deep within Russia is being considered," the post says. This is also closely related to President Trump’s statement that he would allow the delivery of another long-range Patriot air defense system to Ukraine. On July 11, U.S. President Donald Trump said he was disappointed with Russia and promised to make an important statement about it on Monday, July 14.
