Serhii Dzherdzh, head of the public league Ukraine - NATO, said this on Espreso TV."Chinese and Russian leaders perfectly understand that the best time to start some kind of provocation against NATO is right now. There’s no point in waiting three to five years. Today, NATO is still not ready to repel serious provocations from Russia, because increases in military budgets are only planned for the coming years," Dzherdzh noted. The head of the public league Ukraine - NATO recalled that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Europe’s air defense needs to be increased by 400%."But this will take time, and it’s unclear when exactly it will be implemented. The dialogue between Europe and the United States regarding security remains unstable: it’s unclear who is the greater beneficiary of the security provided by NATO, and who is investing more in strengthening it. So, I think this is quite possible for the Russians. Especially since the eastern front of the Russian-Ukrainian war is more or less at a standstill. This does not prevent Russia from starting a hybrid war against NATO, which, in fact, is already underway. But it could take even more pronounced forms," Dzherdzh added.NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasized the need to strengthen the North Atlantic Alliance and cooperate with the Indo-Pacific region in the face of threats from Russia.
