Ukrainian politician and diplomat Roman Bezsmertnyi said this in an interview with the host of the Studio West program, Antin Borkovskyi, on the Espreso TV channel."There is only one tool to force the Kremlin to conduct constructive negotiations - force. Force is the only tool that will force the Kremlin not just to sit down at the table, but to have a constructive conversation in terms of accepting or ceasefire, ceasefire, or signing a peace agreement," he said.In the diplomat’s view, all other options - whether in Rome, on the Moon, in Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh - will be seen by the Kremlin merely as a continuation of the war."And to agree to work and conduct some dialogues only when this issue and this place are controlled from the point of view of control - where it would be possible to conduct wiretapping, video recording, including provocations against the participants in the negotiation process. And this must be understood in Washington," noted Bezsmertnyi. He added that if there are to be any surprises from the U.S., it would be very important to have the Web on the one hand, and similar things from the U.S. and Europe, including sanctions, on the other.“Only then can we expect that the Moscow Führer might be dragged to the negotiating table on a leash and begin talks without issuing ultimatums. It's a strange situation: in Istanbul, the Russian Federation puts an ultimatum on the table - and suddenly Washington and Brussels start talking about negotiations. Tell me, who negotiates with someone issuing ultimatums? You wage war against them! Because an ultimatum isn’t meant to reach an agreement - it’s a war plan. So expecting any constructive diplomatic progress with the Kremlin holding such a position - why deceive ourselves?” the diplomat concluded.
