Doctor of Economics and head of Advanter Group Andrii Dlihach stated this on Espreso TV."Visualize that more than 80% of Ukrainians of working age are employed in Poland. More than 60,000 businesses have been opened in Poland. According to the latest estimates, if in 2023 Ukrainians provided 0.9% of economic growth, GDP growth in Poland, then in 2024 it will be from 1.5% to 2.5% - Ukrainians. Who would let go of such capital?" he said.In his opinion, the Poles are well aware that if they put any pressure on Ukrainians, Ukrainians will come to Germany instead of Ukraine.“Germany is vacuuming up Ukrainians right now. Ukrainians are excellent capital, resources, and a great opportunity for the European Union. This is evident from the offers being made to Ukrainians - including relocation to Germany for those on social benefits. But in reality, these are not incentives to relocate, but to seek employment. Schools are developing rapidly - both Ukrainian schools and the adaptation of children in local ones. We constantly monitor this situation as well. In short, the European Union has made very good use of Ukrainians,” Dlihach noted. The economist believes that this is a question for Ukraine."Why haven't we created the conditions in Ukraine that would make it better for Ukrainians to return? And it's not about shelters or schools, it's about two key circumstances. It's not even about jobs. There are jobs in Ukraine. And the salaries are already Polish in Ukraine. The number one issue is prospects, guarantees, and an understanding of what will happen next in Ukraine. In general, what are Ukraine's plans, and how are we going to develop. We don't have this. Ukrainians have no sense of this and, accordingly, no signals from the state and no faith," he emphasizes.Dlihach believes that the state should pay attention to this."And the second thing we need. We need to create conditions for talent development and better business in Ukraine, not only in Europe, but in the world. We have to build both the tax system and the regulatory system so that Ukrainians and not only Ukrainians, any talent from the world, know that Ukraine has the best place, the best deregulation, the best opportunities, the best access to capital, the best legal protection from the state, any protection. This is what we have to do without delay. This is definitely not an unpopular reform. These reforms can be unpopular only with corrupt officials, only with those criminals who continue to occupy government offices," the economist concluded.
