The heads of Russia and Ukraine's delegations at peace talks in Istanbul have agreed to exchange 1,000 prisoners of war from each side, the largest swap since the conflict began. Speaking at a news conference on Friday, Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Russian delegation and an adviser to President Vladimir Putin, said three main points were discussed: the prisoner exchange, a potential meeting between the countries' presidents, and a ceasefire.
