The American broadcaster CBS News, citing data from an interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has reported that up to 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the fullscale war with Russia.

On 16 February 2025, Zelenskyy said that more than 46,000 Ukrainian servicemen had been killed during the fullscale war with Russia, and tens of thousands more were missing or held in captivity.
He said that no one knows exactly how many Ukrainians had lost their lives as a result of the war.
