President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has called for decisive and immediate steps to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine following Russia’s missile strike on the city of Sumy.

Details:Von der Leyen emphasised that the strike on Sumy was a grim reminder that Russia remains the aggressor, blatantly violating international law. She added that the victims of the attack, their families and all Ukrainians are "in our hearts".
