Ukraine promised military aid worth over €21 billion at Ramstein meeting

During the meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group also known as the Ramstein format in Brussels on 11 April, participating states pledged to increase military assistance to Ukraine by a total of 21 billion.
Source UK Defence Secretary John Healey at a press conference following the meeting, a European Pravda correspondent reports Details Healey stressed that he was pleased with the results of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group UDCG meeting, at which Ukraine was promised additional military assistance worth 21 billion.

51 nations and partners involved in the contact group from Europe, across IndoPacific and South America.
The new pledges of military aid announced today through the UDCG total over 21 billion euros, said Healey.
From the UK we will spend 4.5 billion pounds this year in military support for Ukraine, our highest ever level and today Im announcing 350 million pounds to surge that support into the hands of Ukraines frontline fighters.
Thats a package that includes radar systems, antitank mines and hundreds and thousands of new drones, he said.
Healey also added that 150 million will be allocated for the repair and maintenance of military equipment.
This is part of a new effort in the months ahead to repair 3,000 Ukrainian vehicles that can be put back into the fight against Putin, the UK defence secretary stressed.
Background Earlier, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced another military aid package for Ukraine, including four IRIST air defence systems.
Moreover, Lithuanian Defence Minister Dovil akalien said that Lithuania intends to allocate 20 million to Ukraine for the purchase of ammunition.
