Doctors try to save boy seriously injured by Russia's Iskander attack in Kryvyi Rih

Doctors in Dnipro are trying to save the life of a 4yearold child who was seriously injured by a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih.
Source Dr Serhii Yehorov, Head of the Intensive Care Unit of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Medical Centre for Family Health in Dnipro, in a comment to journalists, quoted by Ukrinform Quote The boy, unfortunately, is seriously injured he has a very large injury, a penetrating wound of the abdominal cavity with damage to the gallbladder, liver, spleen, intestines and stomach.
He underwent another surgery, but his condition is still unstable it is serious and requires intensive care.
It is likely that further surgery will be necessary.
He is on a lung ventilator and cannot breathe on his own yet.
We are trying to save the childs life.
Details A sevenyearold girl was also brought to the medical facility with the boy.
She is showing signs of improvement.
The doctors say that her condition is now stabilised, and there is no threat to her life.
However, she will undergo longterm treatment and rehabilitation.
In addition, on 7 April, two more children were brought to the medical facility.
An eightyearold child has an open wound to the bones on the forearm and shoulder, and a threeyearold has a penetrating wound to the abdominal cavity, Dr Yehorov said.
The children were treated in the childrens intensive care unit in Kryvyi Rih, and after their condition was stabilised, they were taken to Dnipro for further treatment.
