As before, now and in the future, we will continue to stand up for the interests of Hungarians in Zakarpattia Oblast Ukraine.
Details Sybiha noted that the meeting with Szijjrt focused on ways to resolve issues in our bilateral relations.
He added that Ukraine is interested in finding solutions rather than obstacles.
Sybiha and Szijjrt agreed to hold the next round of relevant consultations between the Ukrainian and Hungarian teams next week.
As two neighbours, both of our nations deserve to have reliable peace, security, and development, Sybiha added.
Background On 3 April, Szijjrt publicly invited his Ukrainian counterpart to a meeting in Brussels and accused him of cancelling previous negotiations that were supposedly scheduled for the previous week.
Sybiha publicly agreed to the meeting but gently pointed out that the Hungarian minister had been untruthful about their prior arrangements.
European Pravda sources confirmed that no meeting had been agreed for the previous week, and therefore it could not have been cancelled, as claimed by the Hungarian minister.
It is worth noting that Szijjrt visited Moscow last week for the 13th time since the start of the fullscale war while continuing to refuse visits to Kyiv.
